Mulitple version attachments - issue

I have a user who uses the Send to - as attachment in Word (we also use a
document management softawre) - copies the attachment from the generated
email, deletes this email, pastes it into an already existing email he
started earlier, then re-opens the attachment - makes changes (document
number will reflect xxxx_11.doc this time), deleting the old attachment from
the eamil - he may do this several times before ready to send email. When
ready to send he only sees one attachment, but after pressing send and
looking at his sent itmes (he also CCs himself) - there can be 2 or more of
the same attachments, but just different versions.

I've only been able to duplicate this once (I tried the same steps over and
over) Is there any reason for this and does anyone know how to stop this?

We are running Outlook XP

Thank you in advance!

Sounds like versioning issues. Tell him to hit save often, especially after
deleting an attachment, and one final time before sending. This should
eliminate problems caused by a draft copy of the message.
