I am not sure if this is a right place to post this. But I
in desperate need for a help on very critical Access 2000
DB.
I get an error saying

"The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the
object 'MSysDB'. Make sure the object exists and that you
spell its name and path name correctly."

I could not repair the DB and neither will it allow me to
import the data in new DB.
I know there are some companies out there will recover for
a charge, but the process to spend the money is very
lengthy and I need this ASAP. Please help.

Thanks
Andy

Make a copy of your database before doing anything else. Go to my website
and copy this file:

http://www.datastrat.com/Code/DocDatabase.txt

Build a new empty database and put the code in a standard module. Replace
the reference to CurrentDB with the path to the database you have the errors
in.

If that doesn't work, I can think of little recourse but to use a recovery
service.

In addition to Jetcomp there are a few other "faint hope" things you
can try such as Excel or others at the Microsoft Access Corruption FAQ
at http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm

Thanks for helping.
I get the "Reserved Error".
Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks
