MSXML 6.0 Service Pack 1

Trying to download MSXML 6.0 Service Pack 1 from MS site:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...2c-368b-4ce1-9dab-3e9827b70604&displaylang=en
to Windows XP Home edition. Computer keeps telling me it cannot read the file
type .msi. The one Seagate support said I needed for Maxtor installation is
msxm16_86.msi - does anyone have any idea how to assist? Thanks!
