MSXML 4.0 will not install on Build 5308

Would anyone have any idea why MSXML 4.0 will not install on Vista x64
(Build 5308)? I see msxml3 and msxml6 are loaded with Vista, but I need
msxml4 to run a specific application and the install fails every time.

This is because you might be running Internet Explorer 64-bit which requires
that all ActiveX Controls be 64-bit native. I have MSXML installed in my IE
Managed add ons in 32-bit Vista 5365.

Ahh totally overlooked that - that makes a very good point. If you can try
running the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer 7 in Vista, and see if this
changes anything.
