MSVCRT.DLL Help Needed

I tried to install a game on my system which apparently was designed
for use with Win98. The game didn't work and so I uninstalled it. I
tried to install VS.Net 2003 and I now get the message:

MSVCRT.DLL for Win32
Error: MSVCRT.DLL is not compatible with Win32s

Any suggestions?
 
You likely have an older version installed... Search you hard drive for other versions and
copy the highest version number (not date!) do c:\winnt\system

If that does not work look on your shelf for your most recently issued program and
reinstall that. Almost all programs are built with MS visual C, which is where that file
came from.
