Hello,

Some questions about upgrading to MSVC 2008.

1- I am using MSVC2005, Do you recommend that I upgrade to MSVC 2008 Beta 2?

2- When the MSVC2008 will be officially release?

3- Where can I download MSVC 2008 Beta 2?

4- I am a member of MSDN, did they send me a DVD with MSVC2008 Beta 2? If
yes, I will install it on my system instead of downloading it.

Some questions about upgrading to MSVC 2008.

MSVC? Do you mean Visual Studio.NET...???

Assuming you do mean Visual Studio.NET:
1- I am using MSVC2005, Do you recommend that I upgrade to MSVC 2008 Beta
2?

Not for production systems, obviously...
2- When the MSVC2008 will be officially release?

End of this year for a few people, 1st quarter next year to the general
public...
3- Where can I download MSVC 2008 Beta 2?

4- I am a member of MSDN, did they send me a DVD with MSVC2008 Beta 2?

Er, well only you can know that - did you check your letter box...?

If you don't need .NET 3.5 it make sense to wait the release. However,
if you have a secondary machine, or a virtual machine, where it can be
installed, you should try it.

Note, that Beta2 is a time limited version. Although Scott said that
it is a 365 day time limit, I believe it is a 1/2 year

in "2008" :)

There is also Express Editions available

I think you have to download it.

I think you have to download it.

P.S. I have it installed on the same box with VS.NET 2005. Both
versions are working, no install issues.

I have it running in a virtual machine - not taking any chances... :)
