If I don't use a SIP server can MSN Messenger replace Windows Messenger?

Does it integrate with Outlook and other applications?

Greetings Michael,

MSN Messenger doesn't have Exchange IM support either -- but if you're just using the public
network, you can use either.

But no, MSN Messenger will not integrate into Outlook, Outlook Express or other "Messenger
enabled applications", besides those that have been specifically written to support MSN
Messenger 6 (there really aren't any from Microsoft, except for MSN Explorer 8 or 8.5).
