Could some one tell me how to get Windows XP not to launch MSN Messenger on
start up. I do not want to delete it, just stop it from automatically
starting every time I turn on my computer.

Thanks

Open your msn messenger and click on tools on the top and
then options. Then click on the "general" tab on top and
you'll see some boxes for "sign in". Click off all the
ones under "sign in" and you should be all set.

Also, go to your start menu and programs and then look in
the start up folder and see if msn messenger is in there.
If it is...right click on the icon and delete it. OK?

Peace!

Open windows / msn messenger: tools, options, preferences tab. Uncheck
starting and also running in background if you want.

In addition, in Outlook Express, uncheck the box 'Login to Messenger' in
Tools - Options, and uncheck 'Contacts' in View - Layout. (OE uses
Messenger's contacts list)
