MSN Messenger Change in ID

F

Faiz

Hi:

I have MSN Messenger at my office. Whenever the system
starts I get logged in. I am about to change jobs and
want to know how I can disable my ID without jamming up
their system for the next person who comes to use my
system. In other words how can I make it so that the
system does not associate me with the MSN Messenger. Or
do I have it wrong. All that I need to do is to log off
and delete the list of my contacts. It is not as if
anyone else can see my e-maisl etc? I am sort of
confused as to the way MSN Messenger works? When I got
the Network Passport did the system identify me uniquely
with that particular copy of MS Messenger on that
particular machine? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Thank you.

Greetings Faiz,

To fix this, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts
in the Control Panel. Select the Windows XP account name you're currently logged under, and
then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network
Passwords'. In the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click
'Remove'. You'll probably also want to remove your name here, also denoted by (Passport).
