msn messenger 6.1 audio crashes system

please help
am using messenger 6.1 and when i accept an invite to an
audio conversation my system restarts. have checked for
hardware conflicts. don't know what is going on...
any help would be appreciated

Hello, I have the same problem, it is due to malformed
TCP/IP packets by the other computer. This is due to the
PC itself or network devices along the route. I havent
had time to solve it yet and i have included the official
MS response to my problem.

Here are the steps I will try next:
- Uninstall TCP/IP (normal and IPv6) from both PC'S.
- Turn MTU dicovery off
- Try again.

Úpdate, I meant uninstall and REINSTALL TCPIP (normal and
IPv6)...sorry
