msn 7.5 ruined my whole system

please help! once i downloaded msn messenger 7.5 i couldn't log on n it said
somethi bout my firewall...but its not my firewall...n when i troubleshooted
it it said gateway is offline...wuts that mea? n how do i get gateway
online?...this also affected windows messenger and my moms out look
express...her new e-mails don't come in...all she has is her old ones....i've
tried to download an older versiopn on msn...the one i had b4...7.0 but it
just downloaded 7.5 again i also tried to uninstall it..that didn't work...i
tried almost everything else the messenger said to do and it just isn't
working i still have no msn and no outlook express! please help me i have no
clue what to do now!
 
You can try to click on the dialup properties and change the setting on the
advance tab. Hope this will help.
 
change the setting 4 what? sry but theirs a few things i could change my
settings on...sry 16 yr girl confused

Download and run the utility from Doug Knox to uninstall messenger. It's at,
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_mess_disable.htm
Then reboot and if you want an older version of messenger go to
http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=msnm
download the version you want.
 
You may need to change to networking and firewall setting on the dialup
properties. This may solve your problem.
