MSJVM and .NET framework

Sadly I have MSJVM on my computer and now I have no clue what to do about the
whole transition, should I get the .NET framework...
If I download the .NET framework what version will I need and can I download
it while still having MSJVM?
This is extremely confusing to me, and all the articles I have read have
lost me.
Any help would be appreciated

Thiers nothing wrong with having MJVM installed....As far as .NET goes, windows
update should try to install v1.1 After,it should install v2.0 After,v3.1
All 3 will
get installed & upgraded....

I thought that support for MSJVM was going to end on Dec 31/07 and then could
be vulnerable to security threats.....I've checked my updates on auto-update
and I do not have the .NET framework (I also know I don't b/c I tried to see
if my computer is Vista compatible and it told me to install the .NET
framework) Just don't know what happens if I do (in terms of its
compatibility with MSJVM being installed)
But thank you for the help
