Thanks for the information..
I followed instructions but when I tried to repair, I received a blue
Stop 0000263 Drive En....
not found.. and the computer locks up.. On reboot the same blue stop and
lock up occurs..
I had to copy my backup drive, but that has the same msinfo32.exe error;
so I will probably have to run a complete new install in order to get
the msinfo32.exe to run correctly..

Tried the 2000 Update and got a stop error (driver entry point not
found) with a computer lockup..
Then I tried the 2000 Repair and got exactly the same stop error and
computer lockup..
I had to Ghost (disk to disk) from my week old external backup drive,
which had the same msinfo32.exe error, so I'm now back to square one;
crippled but working??.
