MSInfo.exe Help

Need help restoring function to MSInfo.exe. I've tried the fix found on
the following website...http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm but
MSInfo still does not work. I also tried copying and pasting the executable
form Win98 into the system folder in Win XP but that does not work. Is it
possible to restore the file form the original disk?

FYI, under SP2, msinfo requires the DCOM Server Process Launcher service
to be running. Did you perhaps disable that service (because it has the
word DCOM in it; many do thinking that DCOM is a bad thing! But you DO
need it).
