Has anyone else gotten an error message on this command? I'm trying to
uninstall and re-install Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and I get the
MsiExec.exe error message with no other explanation.

Insert the original installation disc and re-run setup from there. Repairing
the installation should suffice.

Thank you AGAIN, Graham. Are you referring to the XP Professional
installation or the Adobe Acrobat? Problem there is that I moved from
Houston to Virginia about this time last year and I'm not real sure if the XP
discs made the trip. I still have boxes stored in Houston (moved to a much
smaller house). I'll let you know.

Just to let you know, I was able to reinstall Acrobate 8 Professional. The
MsiExec.exe error message did come up again, but my tech (CIO son) looked at
it and bypassed it and it reinstalled with no problem.
