msiecex.exe opens on each new window

After uninstalling some old junk and reinstalling NetZero High Speed, every
tine an new wnidow opens I get a windows installer (msiexec.exe) popup.
Eventually the window will load but is faster if I kill the msiexec process
from the task manager window. I'm running Windows XP SP2.

I'v tried the msicuu2.exe fix from microsoft. It didn't work. Spybot S&D and
Norton Internet Security both fully updated.
