MSIE will not close

R

Robert

I am not able to close MSIE with the "X", choosing File,
and selecting close, or right clicking the application at
the bottom of the screen and choosing close. I must use
CTRL-ALT-DEL, and selecting "End Task" to close MSIE.

When attempting to close MSIE normally, I just get
a "Beep" and nothing happens.

I am using XP Professional (SP1), with MSIE
6.0.2800.1106, with XPSP2.

Please advise how I may correct this problem.

Thank you.
