MSGina.dll file

I noiticed recently that I cannot switch users, leaving application running in the backgroud. The problem window that pops up tells me a recently installed program is the cause of my not having that ability. It refers to the MSGina.dll that has been changed. I have talked to my techie at work, he tells me the VPN dialer I had installed, did not change the file. It was probably a windows update, since he has XP at home and does not have the problem I have with HIS VPN installed

I need to replace the file with the original. The only document I have found refers to Win2000. Can you help me?
 
click "start"/"run

type "sfc /scannow"

have your XP CD-ROM near, might request it.
