Msg-Typed incorrectly or too complex to be evaluated.

I have a very simple query. It asks What job? I type in "Martin" and I get
the message that it is too complex to be evaluated or some such a thing.
there's nothing complicated and I have entered the name correctly. what's
wrong?
 
Please post the SQL String of your Query and state the data type of the
relevant Fields.
 
You are really not giving us the information we need to help you.

What is the query being used? What field are you entering data into?
