MSFT LifeCam VX6000 Slow Initialising

I just installed the above and have noticed that while it initialises
quickly enough if I click the Windows Live button on top, or open it from My
Computer/Scanners & Cameras, if I open it from Start/All Programs it takes
at least 2 minutes to start.
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling. I have USB2.0 and loads of memory etc.
Wondering if anyone else had similar problem?
