msdos backup and restore with Windows XP Home

I just found 4 floppy disks with backup files (from the old DOS days). Each
disk has a backup.001, and control.001 up to backup.004 and control.004 for
the fourth disk.

Is there a way to restore these files? I am a Windows XP Home user.
