Should I buy the MSDN Professional Subscription for Visual Studio 2005 from
microsft or can I buy a 7.0 subscription and transfer it? I want to get
Profession Premium subscription and Microsoft wants $2499. What 7.0
subscription can I buy to get Premium Professional?

It sounds like you are confused with the different Visual Studio and MSDN
options. This is no wonder, though, these are unfortunately becoming complex
things!

I suggest that you read this page through. In fact, there is no
"Professional Premium" or "Premium Professional", there's only Visual Studio
Professional (et. al) with or without MSDN Professional Subscription or MSDN
Premium Subscription. Pay close attention to the product names, this is the
key to success!
