Update via MSAS.
There are issues with many users obtaining the updates
in some circumstances - myself included.

Do you use a third party firewall?
Yes and I disabled it to update MSAS.
It's a glitch - period.

Updated to 5689 yesterday (Sunday 13th Feb) and tonight (Monday 14th Feb)
MSAS automatically updated to the [supposed] latest def file number 5687.

Trying to update again manually to 5689 MSAS says I currently have the
latest def file 5687 installed.

Max,

At the risk of sounding like a broken record.

Close MSAS, reboot - try updating again, see if that
improves your situation.

Open MSAS > Help > About > will tell you the Defintion
updates applied.
