MSAS scans every day but says it hasn't run a scan yet

I'm running MSAS 1.0.615. Each morning at 8am I can hear
and see that MSAS is scanning files. Yet when I open MSAS
afterwards it says "You have not run a scan yet.". Any
ideas?

Its a bug, hopefully it will be fixed in beta 2.

Are other actions or preferences you take or chose within the program
recorded?

Are you running as administrator?

I'd consider uninstalling, deleting the installation folder and all
subfolders--you will lose access to any Quarantined items, and all
customized settings--and then reinstalling the current build.

I've presently got this symptom on one install of Microsoft Antispyware, but
that is running on a beta OS where permissions are significantly more
constrained than under XP, and I suspect that's the cause.
