Ms word icon

I have installed MS word 2007, before that i have used MS works. Problem is
that after installation my word documents icons are not changed as MS word
2007 Icon. If i click that document means its tells the error and not opening
it asks open with other program. What can i do for thi problem and resolve
this issue.
