Word MS Word Crashes on Print... Command

MS Word crashes/closes when I hit "Print..." from the file menu. "Control + P" also has the same affect. Its ok with just the Printer icon, but you cant change print or select print range etc. I've uninstalled & reinstalled Word but no change.

I recently installed a Lexmark E250d which may be the problem. This has the Vista drivers installed from lexmark website.

Printer : Lexmark E250d
Operating : Vista Home Prem
Application : MS Word From Office 97
Memory : 3GB
Processor : Intel Quad Q6600 2.40 ghz

Do you get an error message when Word crashes? Also, do other applications do this when you bring up the full print dialog box?

No warnings at all, Word just instantly closes. All other programs print ok.

You could try uninstalling Word then reinstalling it, plus the latest patches from the net:
