needhelp

this is the first time i am using windows mail. in all earlier versions like
outlook / express etc, i know this option where you can use word as default
editor for composing all new mail messages. this ensures that we can format /
allign / bullet etc just like in word. However, this windows mail thing is
not showing me this option of using word as default editor for composing all
new messages / replies. please suggest / advise.

How about IE\Properties\Programs\Email Editor. What do you have set there. Is Word
installed and not the Trial version?

Sorry, there is no provision in Windows Mail to use Word as the editor.
Try writing the message in Word, then copy/paste into a new email.

i use a licensed copy. is there any way i can change this windows mail to
outlook. because outlook supports word as editor and is far more convenient.

A licensed copy of what?
If you have a licensed copy of the Office install CD, and it includes Outlook,
you may be able to use it to install Outlook on your computer.
When you install Outlook, it automatically becomes the default mail program.
