MS Word 2007 Size of Icons

I learned that I can remove the ribbons or reduce the ones I am not using
currently by double clicking on the tabs (Home, etc.). This left the
remaining groups slightly larger but did not solve the problem of having the
icons available that we wanted. Then, I put all the icons my husband, an
author, uses on the tool bar at the top. However, he cannot see them very
well. Are you telling me there is no way to increase the size of these icons?
 
This is at least the fourth time you've posted this. No, there is no way to
increase the size of these icons.
 
Would the magnifier from Windows Accessibility tools help?
