ms query with "fill down formulas in adjacent columns"

I use a lot of queries, almost all of which have formulas in the columns to
the right that copy down when the queries are updated.

With the new fiscal year, a lot of the queries will initially return null
results.

Sometimes when the query goes from having results to having a null result,
the adjacent formulas remain next two two blank rows. But sometimes they
disappear entirely.

Any idea if there's a rhyme or reason to this, or what I can do to prevent
the formulas from going away?

This sounds like you have an Excel question. Are you talking about Access,
this newsgroup, or Excel?

Right you are. Apologies.
