MS Query links

i am compiling an excel costing sheet that links to several external M
Access databases for its lookup data, how do i reestablish links to th
original databases when i view my files on a different pc to the one th
queries were created on. i repoint the data to the original database
but they wont refresh
 
Two questions: what error message (or other indication of a problem) do you
get? And when you say you "repoint the data to the original databases" what
steps are you following to do that?
