MS Photo Editor not installed

Cary Shultz

Greetings and Salutations!

Have a WIN2000 Terminal Server at Service Pack 3 set up
with about 15 remote users making a Citrix Connection.
Have installed MS Office 2000 Standard with SP3. No
issues what-so-ever.

Just had a file extension / association issue. Knew about
Q257592 to "open up" File Types, added the two file
extensions, associated .jpg and .jpeg with Internet
Explorer and then "closed up" File Types. However, I
would like to have MS Photo Editor installed as the non-TS
users really like this application ( and you know how
people talk amongst themselves! ).

Is MS Photo Editor not installed due to the termsrvr.mst
Transforms file? Is it possible to add this "after-the-
fact". The Terminal Server is a dedicated Member Server
with dual Xeon 2.4GHz / 2GB RAM so resources should not
*necessarily* be an issue.

Thanks all!

Cary

While Photo Editor isn't installed by default, all you
need to do is copy the PhotoEd files from the original
disk to your hard drive. You should be good to go.
