Sometimes when I use MS Outlook I get a failure to send email message from
System administrator with a message below:

553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

How can I prevent and correct this. Thanks.

You need to call your internet provider. Then tell the dumb dot heads you
need a correct transfer to your'e desktop to them etc. and they will give you
the codes. probably will have to do it three or four times. But it will work.

You might want to check with your ISP but this error message
usually indicates that your outgoing email server requires
authentication. Here's a web page with instructions on enabling
this in Outlook 2002 or 2003.

How to set Outgoing SMTP Email Authentication
http://portal.gci.net/support/kb/smtp/#actiondocument.2006-11-15.2024835393

The procedure is similar if you're using Outlook 2007.

Good luck
