Hey everyone.
i just installed office 2003 pro. I used to have a old version of word and
excel. Well now when i open up a .wps or .wks file it tells me i need to
convert it so i convert it. but then all it gives me all those little boxes
and no words. Also I have SP2 and XP Pro incase you guys need to know. i
could use some help if you guys could give it to me

You did not have Office if you had those file extensions. Those are for
Works. Word has a different format. Look up Converting Works Files in Word
Help. "Set Options for converting documents" will give you instructions for
font substitution so you can read the Works files, if possible.

thanks for the advice. I've d/l all the converts i can find on office but it
wont work. I dont have works installed anymore so on one of the converts it
tells me that it cant find works. so anymore ideas ?
