MS Live Safety Centre - does not run

XP SP2 IE 6 -Ran the Prevention Scan a few times, the last for over 2
hours - no results screen. No activity on drive after a couple of hours
either. Browser showed start screen which quickly switched to what looked
like a results screen except it never got more than a title and an
undeveloped scroll window.

Has anyone gotten this or any of the scans to run to completion?

I have the exact same problem that you are having and can't find out who to
ask why this is happening and how to fix it. Microsoft has provided this free
program and it doesn't work.
