Hi.

Is there a Vista-compatible version of Microsoft Jet? I use an app written
in VB6 that works with data in a MS Access database. The app uses MDAC and
Jet. However, I am unable to install Jet 4.0 SP8 or register the JET DLLs.

There isn't even a Vista Compatible version of VB yet! Give it about 6

Microsoft DOES support VB6 on Vista.

Note that the list of files includes some from Jet 4.0.

I am running VB6 apps that use Jet 3.5 happily on Vista.

Did you write your VB6 app? Are you the only person worried about
installing it on Vista, or do you have end-users to worry about?
