MS IntelliMouse Explorer driver problems..

Have not been using the Driver with XP but dnloaded the latest V5.0 and
install it, but it keeps coming up with a error, sort of every 10-15 Mins and
reports back to MS with the error.

Even tried a remove and reinstall and got the same problem.


Is this version buggy ? as I have now removed it again..

Any Clues..?

remove mouse,remove related software/install software,shut down
computer,install mouse and restart.

IntelliPoint v5.0 works perfectly on my XP Home system with the
Microsoft USB IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 mouse.

IntelliPoint v5.0 works perfectly on my XP Home system with the
Microsoft USB IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 mouse.

Mine is the Version 1.0 mouse using it with PS2 support as USB 1.1 does not
multitask to well, it was reported in the MS newsgroups some time back not to
use USB..

But I will try it with USB and see it it still reports back to MS ever 10 mins
or so.
