Hi! I recently installed Windows XP Home Edition and
need to restore data from an external hard drive backed
up with Millennium MS Backup (.qic format). I installed
MS Backup from the XP CD and find that Microsoft has
changed the backup format to .bkf which apparently will
not convert .qic data. I read the Microsoft FAQ
pertaining to this subject and find they have no solution
to restore data to an XP system that has been backed up
with either Windows 98SE or ME (MS backup). Are there
any solutions for this without upgrading the ME machine
to XP? Due to cost and the location of these two systems
I prefer to backup with ME (MS Backup .qic) and restore
to XP (MS Backup). Is this possible? Any help would be
GREATLY appreciated.
