I'm using WixXP-pro, with all the updates. Would appreciate help with "MS
Backup" from a MVP or someone very familiar with it. My question is about
the RESTORE function settings. There are some options I'd like to know how
to best set... they appear when you click as follows...
(In MS Backup, advanced mode....)
Confirm Restore
-------------------------
To set advanced options for restoring... click advanced...

Advanced Restore Options
-------------------------
[? ] Restore security. ???
[? ] Restore junction points, and restore file and folder data. ???
[? ] When restoring replicated data sets. ???
[? ] Restore the Cluster Registry to the. ???
[? ] Preserve exiting volume mount points. ???

Would someone know what these mean, in plain terms, and which ones I should
check. The goal is to just, for instance, use my backup "copy" and restore
a few files or maybe a folder that has been corrupted or accidentally
deleted. It's *not* to restore a whole PC, and I don't think I want to
alter the registry.
Thanks,
George
