MS Anti Spy Beta - Critical Error 101

After re-installing MS Anti Spy Beta on a new hard drive, it will not start.
I get critical error 101 message in which I am told to restart. Then, if
the problem persists, un-install the software, download a new copy from MS
and re-install.

Following these instructions still results in the error. Does anyone have
any idea on how to fix this? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

So what. BETA means NOT YET DONE. And should NEVER be installed on your
primary PC. Format to fix.
