MS Access taking up all processor time

Hi,

Been wanting to ask this abt MS Access .
I am not sure why everytime Ms Access runs , it seems to take up all the
processor's time (from the Task Manager) be it the MS Access program is a
small or complex one

Could anyone kindly advise ?

What version of Access? Access 97 (and earlier) had a tendency to grab all
available cycles, but would release them readily as requied.

I am using access 2002

Could it be the way the codes/queries were constructed ?

Yes, it's possible you could have inefficienet code.
