i found a site of simply great personality, Allen Browne on the
subject of ms access tips, samples and guidance on developing access
programming.
he shows one sample of inventory control. he advised to use function
codes to deal with updated counting of inventory.
my question is "where the function codes would be inserted? in query,
module or elsewhere. plz guide me on the matter. thanks a lot

If you are asking about the function: OnHand, this could be placed in a code
module. It can then be called from a form, report, or query as needed.
