MS Access 97 and Jet Database Engine

Is it possible to make MS Access 97 use Jet Database Engine 4.0 version instead of Jet Database Engine 3.5?
 
No, not really. While you could likely wrote some code that uses JET 4, the
forms, query builder etc all use jet 3.5.

Not really sure why you would want JET 4. About the only real feature you
would benefit from is row record locking.

If you really need JET 4, the why not upgrade to 2002?
