I'm very new and do not know much about it. But i had someone make me a
database for my small co. I rent Lamps to Movies Industry . Most of the lamps
have a # Like VT095 Ect TT200 . And on . When i enter all that and Hyperlink
them to the picture . from my desk top Computer .Then I want to be able to
do the same on my laptop . When I Compact&repair. Backup Then Put it in my
lap top The picture wont open . Please is somebody can tell me How to be able
to work on Both computer. Thank you JK

What method are you using to hyperlink to pictures?

The first thought that comes to my mind is to check on the properties under
"picture type". There are two options - linked or embedded. If it is
linked, then Access looks for the file in the specified directory. If you do
not have that same directory on your laptop, Access cannot find the file. If
it is embedded, then the pictures are actually imported into your database
but that can dramatically increase the size of your database which may cause
errors if the pictures are large.
