Hi all,

I've run into a problem with two of my clients over the last month
regarding MS Access 2003. Since these are two completely seperate
clients with a similar problem I was racking my brain on what changed
over the last month. The only thing I can come up with is I am running
a WSUS server and have office updates being deployed.

The problem they are having is that they have an MS Access 2003
database that they update on a daily basis. They just started noticing
over the last month or so that some of the data they entered is
missing. The Office updates that were applied include:

KB923097
KB924424
KB923272

Does anyone have any ideas? Could the problem be related to an update?

Thanks
Joe

What sort of data is missing, and how can they tell? More information about
the database, network setup, number of users etc would be handy...

Damian.

Here is the setup. The database is hosted on a network server. There
is only one user accessing the database. It is an Access 2003
database. The database manages client information, timesheets,
billing, invoicing. The user has noticed that they would enter data
into an employees timesheet. Then they would go back in at a later
time, sometimes the same day, sometimes the next day, and all the data
they entered is missing. They notice this when they run a report or
check the actual form where data was entered. This is something new
that has only started occurring in the last month or so.

Any thoughts?

Any ideas.... Anyone... Buehler?

Reports and forms can be based on queries that don't show all data and both can
have filters that would not include all data. Unless they look directly at the
tables and tell you the data is missing then you have to assume that it is not.
