MRU Lists

I have AdAware (free version) installed, and their forum is down so I thought
I'd ask here.
What are MRU lists, which AdAware regularly detects on my system? I find
this both annoying and intrusive.
Who places them? Almost every item is "last Microsoft ......." times 10-20
items the the registry and other places.
What can be gleaned from them?
How do I get rid of them?
I'm sure many others have the same stuff come up time after time. I have
better things to do with my time then deleting this stuff.
Thanks,

MRU = Most Recently Used

It will clear for example, If you use MS Office and Open alot of Word
Documents, this will clear the recently used list, this not only clears the
list to have the program run faster, but it also clears memory if that
applies to the list. It's kind of like clearing the page file at shutdown,
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick response, Jarhead, but why does AdAware care if these
files exist? I thought AdAware was try to protect me from data miners, or
are these files information those pinheads are after. Who cares what "Last "
whatever was opened or used?
Sempre Fi.
