Mpeg coded digital cameras usually use some kind of proprietary codec.
once you download to the PC via the software that comes with the cam,
you can re-encode to whatever and that will play on most anything.
Ultraplayer, windows media player, etc.
If it's mpeg4, it is either Divx, http://www.divx.com/; or a Windows Media
File. The former will play once you install the codec, the latter has
native support in WMP.
