i have been using xp prof. to transfer music from samsung yh925 music studio
to my yh925 digital audio player for the last 4 years. I now find that when i
plug in the usb connection xp is now not recognising the yh925 hard drive
(20gb). i have unistalled and re installed the samsung yh925 studio. result
the same. i have used several restore points from the past week in case any
xp updates have caused the problem. same result. i have rolled back to
windows media player 9. no change.

First try opening system properties (R.click my computer, properties, system,
hardware,device mgr.,scroll to USB,expand the tree,R.click on hardware
listed,one at a time,select "update drivers",do for all,close,open system
devices,
R.click & update the board hardware listed,close out.Next,open WMP,tools,
options,hardware,locate youre samsung device,properties,edit if needed,close
out. Also, download & run WMDiag open the result data for errors & info.
