MP3 files not working

Hi folks,

I have a load of mp3 files on my computer and when I try and play these in
realplayer or windows mediaplayer they don't play and I get a message about
codex or samething. Do i need to convert these files in order to them on my
computer or do I need to download a specific codex thingy...............

Download the free codec viewer then once identified what you need download
the codec :
