Moving to larger drive for dynamic disk RAID 0 in Windows 2000 server

Hi,

I would like to know what the best solution to move whole server disk
(OS & application & data) to bigger hard drive.

These are the situation:
The previous admin guy installed RAID 0 (stripped - 2 @40GB HD become
one volume) in W2K server. I need to move it to 2 @120 GB mirror/RAID
1 without reinstalling OS.
FYI: the Mobo comes with integrated RAID /Highpoint

It looks like a big headache for me. Would somebody helps?
Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Joe

It seems to me that you cannot install an OS to a striped
set of drives because the OS cannot find the boot
partition. Check to ensure the OS is not on this set. You
should have a sigle drive as the boot drive.

Doesn't the MB have two IDE RAID headers? If os, what about installing
the 2 120's as a second RAID 0, partition it and Ghost the 40's to the
Second partition then pull the 40's and restore the Ghost to the Primary
partition on the 120's. No guarantees of course, but worth a try.

Thanks for your input.
I tried use Ghost 2003 and able to ghost to a new 120GB HD (1)
successfully (partition --> Image, not Disk --> Image) and restore to
another new 120GB HD (2) from 120GB HD (1).
But the 120 GB HD (2) even though if I check from Recovery Console, it
shows all the data but if I boot from this 120 GB HD (2)...it said
there is no bootdisk/OS installed.
I tried fixboot and then restart...still doesn't boot & fixmbr from
Recovery Console but still the same result.
So I am stuck.
I am going to do move for production server this Saturday, so I have
to figure out before that.
