moving to a larger HD

I have a thinkpad T-60 with a 60GB HD running Vista Business. The T-60 has a
hidden service partition with a base backup (Rescue and Recovery). I want to
move everything to a 100 GB HD, hopefully without losing the base backup. I
do have DVD's with an R&R backup, which will boot. So far as I know, there
isn't any available software (eg Partition Magic) which will unhide a hidden
partition on a Vista system. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

You can image the entire drive with something like Acronis TrueImage
onto a temporary external hard drive. Then put in your new drive and
restore the image.

To be on the safe side, call Lenovo tech support and ask them for their
recommendations first. Lenovo tech support is excellent.
